Connect Online

The Connect Online project recruits volunteers who are comfortable using and sharing technology. Volunteers provide support and tuition to older people who need assistance to stay in touch with family and friends, to maintain their independence or even just to feed their curiosity.

Volunteers help out at groups throughout Midlothian and groups have returned to face to face now. Ongoing training is provided to volunteers to keep their skills up-to-date, including the opportunity to be a Digital Champion with the Connecting Scotland scheme. Being a volunteer with Connect Online is fun and challenging. You never know what the next question might be, so participants and volunteers are always learning something new! Have a look at our Padlet for the latest technology news.
